Pro-Life: What is the truth? Seeing is believing!

"Because abortions are never committed prior to the sixth week of pregnancy, every child abortion kills is already so fully formed that her heart's beating, and her brain's producing brain wave activity"

--Gregg Cunningham, Center for Bio-Ethical Research, from the video "Hard Truth".

"Abortion (murdering the innocent unborn) is proof of the deep deep darkness of mankinds heart--what a great evil."

Are partial-birth abortions medically necessary to save the mother’s life or protect her from injury?

With all that modern medicine has to offer, partial-birth abortions are not needed to save the life of the mother, and the procedure’s impact on a woman’s cervix can put future pregnancies at risk.

Former Surgeon General C. Everett Koop, M.D.
Letter to the Editor
New York Times, September 26, 1996

Most partial-birth abortions are performed on healthy mothers with healthy babies," and "there is no obstetrical situation that requires the willful destruction of a partially delivered baby to protect the life, health or future of a woman.

The Pro-Life movement is one of the most controversial subjects next to the gospel itself.  Noted below are some pictures depicting what's realy going on inside the womb of the mother.  And it's not merly a plob of flesh as so many claim for convience while turning a blind eye to the Abortion Holocaust.

Fetal models 12, 16, and 20 weeks

The above depicts in "actual size" (from left to right)  a 12 week, 16 week, and 20 week old fetus (unborn baby).  This is clear evidence that what is inside the mother's womb after conception is in fact a living child.  The quarter in the middle is there for size comparison.

Fetal Model--16 weeks

Above is a close up of the 16 week old fetus (unborn baby).

Fetal Model--20 weeks

Close up of the 20 week old fetus (unborn baby).

8 week fetus model

An 8 week old fetus (inlarged approx. 1/3 for detial), and an 12 week fetus in actual size (common abortion age).

A two part documentary. Part one examines the social and medical history of abortion. Part two is a rare exploration of the spiritual forces behind abortion, its roots in child sacrifice, feminist goddess worship and witchcraft. Clearly demonstrates that abortion is more than a matter of public policy, since spiritual forces fuel its continuance. A thought provoking challenge to the church. 85 minutes.

Video, The Hard Truth
Item No. 7708HT

Actual footage of living, in-utero children and their aborted peers shows the hard truth about abortion in ways 'just words' never will. Hard Truth packs such unprecedented power, viewers cannot watch it without being profoundly affected. The video length is designed to fit into presentations. Guide for leading discussion is included. This video is powerful and very graphic. 10 minutes.  (Now on DVD.)

"Protection of the life of the mother as an excuse for an abortion is a smoke screen. In my 36 years of pediatric surgery I have never known of one instance where the child had to be aborted to save the mother's life. If toward the end of the pregnancy complications arise that threaten the mother's health, the doctor will either induce labor or perform a Caesarian section. His intention is to save the life of both the mother and the baby. The baby's life is never willfully destroyed because the mother's life is in danger."

- C. Everett Koop, M.D.
Former U.S. Surgeon-General

In moral debate in the United States today, many people resort to moral relativism. They argue that there are no objective moral values which help us to determine what is right or wrong. They claim "everything is relative." In order to defend this position, the relativist puts forth two arguments: (1) Since people and cultures disagree about morality, there are no objective moral values; (2) Moral relativism leads to tolerance of practices we may find different or odd. These two arguments are seriously flawed. In addition, the moral relativist... More
